Back When Medicine Was Just a Dream

Spent 1–2 years locked into NEET UG prep mode—high stress, low sleep, and even lower social life.
The lockdown made it worse. I was indoors 24/7, no travelling, no hanging out, no café plans or movie nights. Just me, my books, and the occasional existential crisis.

Every day looked the same: waking up, studying for 8–10 hours straight, eating, maybe scrolling through memes for a break (and guilt-tripping immediately after), then back to reading.
Made it through with 98% in 10th and 99% in 12th—got a polite :slightly_smiling_face::+1: from life and moved on.

Friend circle? Shrinking. Social life? Non-existent. Trust issues? Built during online coaching group chats with 1000+ strangers and :snake: energy everywhere.

Parents kept saying: “Bas NEET nikal jaaye, uske baad maze hi maze.”
Spoiler alert: “Maze” is still buffering.
Relatives? Oh, they had better plans for me:
“Beta, engineer ban jao. Doctor banne ke liye bohot padhna padta hai.”
Too late, aunty. Already on the path of no return.

And yeah… single throughout. Because who has time for love when you’re in a relationship with NCERT and PhysicsWallah?
