Hi everyone, I’m Vishakha.
I did my schooling from DPS and like many others, I gave NEET a shot but didn’t clear it on my first attempt. To be honest, I never truly wanted to be a doctor. I deeply admire them and everything they do, but I just can’t handle blood. It genuinely makes me feel dizzy and faint.
So I chose to pursue a biotechnology degree instead. It felt close to medicine but without the clinical part. I did that for around two years. But somewhere along the way, I realized the traditional style of teaching just wasn’t for me. Too much theory, not enough excitement. I felt stuck.
So I dropped out.
Right now, I’m working full-time on building something meaningful in the biotech space. One thing that has really caught my attention is how so many experiments are still done on mice. I want to explore how this process can be approached differently and maybe even improved.
Looking forward to connecting with others here who are also exploring different paths in medicine, research, or education.
A pic of me - omw to college last year lol
