There was this old man w no phone and no visitors. Every morning he’d ask if someone had come to see him.
“I think my daughter might visit today,” he’d say, softly. “She’s just busy.” We would check his blood reports.He would check the door.Every single day.She never came.Not even on the day he was discharged.Vitals were stable. He was “fit for home.”But some part of him stayed behind in that hospital bed.Because sometimes, people recover physically…but they don’t really heal.
