Last Day of Internship… and I Still Don’t Know Where the IV Cannula Is Kept 😭

I walked into the ward like always… tired, hungry, dead inside. But today? Today hit different.Last day. The ward sister smiled (she never does), my co-interns were suspiciously nostalgic, and the PG who’s never said thank you actually said thank you.We went for chai one last time. Took a photo that looked like a hostel attendance sheet.
I joked about how I still don’t know half the drug doses but deep down… I’m lowkey proud.
From breaking glass thermometers to drawing perfect ABGs,we grew. And tomorrow? I won’t be here at 8 AM in my crusty apron.I’ll kinda miss it.And also… I will NOT miss it.
Duality of medicine.
