Saw someone's pre-MBBS book stack

Just saw someone post a pic of all the books they used during school + NEET prep before joining MBBS, and I don’t know why but it hit me like anything.

It’s crazy how we all carried those giant piles of HC Verma, NCERT, modules, PYQs like trophies. Back then it was about scoring, cracking, proving something.
Now it’s about surviving MBBS, passing profs, figuring out what kind of doctor we want to be.
The shift is so real.

Sometimes I miss the clarity of that time wake up, study, sleep, repeat. Now it’s so much more chaotic. Clinicals, exams, life, identity crisis :sob:
But maybe we needed all that to be here. Maybe that stack of books wasn’t just books it was everything we gave up to become a medical student.

Anyone else feel weirdly emotional seeing that kind of stuff? Or am I just tired on a Thursday night lol
